Self Adhesive Membrane
Self Stick Membranes are self-adhesive water proofing membranes used in Terraces, Basements, Bridges, Metal roofs, Floorings, and sub-structures. It can be applied to foundation walls, tunnels, earth sheltered structures and split slab construction.
Self Stick Membrane is 0.5mm, 1mm and 1.5mm thick, 1.0 mtr wide and 15mtrs long and is supplied in rolls. It is unrolled sticky side down onto concrete slabs or applied onto vertical concrete faces primed with self stickprimer.Continunuity is achieved by overlapping a minimum 50mm to 75mm side lap & 100mm to 150mm end lap and firmly rolling the joint.

SURFACE PREPARATION
Surfaces should be structurally sound and free of voids, loose aggregate and sharp protusions. Remove contaminants such as grease, oil and wax from exposed surfaces. Remove dust, dirt, loose stone and debris. Protect Self Stick membranes to avoid damage from other matters, construction materials or backfill.
STORAGE
Self Stick membranes to be stored vertically in well covered and ventilated area not subjected to direct sunlight.
ADVANTAGES WE OFFER
-
Waterproof – high hydrostatic head resistance
-
Cold applied – no flame hazard;self-adhesive overlaps ensure continuity
-
Flexible – accomodates minor
-
Controlled thickness – factory made sheets ensures constant, non-variable site application
-
Protection Boards of thickness 1mm to 5mm and size 1meter x 2meters each.
-
Anti root SELF STICK membrane.
-
Colored top emulsions for SELF STICK top layer – Silver, Terracoat, Red, Green, and Blue.
-
Cross laminated film – provides dimensional stability, high tear strength, puncture and impact resistance
-
Chemically resistant – provides effective external protection against aggressive soils and ground water.
-
Settlement & shrinkage movement
-
Self Stick Bitumenous Primer which absorbs moisture and can be applied to green concrete & damp surfaces.
-
Double side self-stick membrane.
-
Wide application window – Self stick is extremely flexible. It is capable of bridging shrinkage cracks in the concrete and will accomodate minor differential movement throughout the service life of the structure.
